Mars 2023 - The EDStar platform
CNRS is now hosting our website at http://www.edstar.cnrs.fr. At this stage we have only published the final report of the demonstrator projet financed by French Occitanie Region a few years ago (at http://www.edstar.cnrs.fr/prod/fr/). You will see that it has not aged a day («n'a pas pris une ride») but is only in French. We will update the publication list and also publish an English version as soon as possible. But you may already play with our interactive heat-transfer simulator and watch the corresponding tutorial videos.
Have fun ! This is a quite efficient way to understand what we mean by statistical heat transfer before looking at our more detailed publications (e.g. The teapot in a city: A paradigm shift in urban climate modeling) that further include advanced computer graphics to deal with highly refined 3D geometrical descriptions. Keep also in mind that you are welcome to the training sessions that we organize for engineers that wish to make use of such statistical simulation tools and adapt our Monte Carlo development framework to their specific needs. Everything is distributed under a free license.
